Can I still eat MOB Sauce on the FODMAP diet?

Bowl of Vegetable Salad

The FODMAP diet is a short-term (about 4-6 weeks) elimination diet, typically used to identify foods (or food groups) that trigger your immune system and irritate your gut. The foods and food groups avoided on this diet include

  • Dairy products
  • Wheat products
  • Beans and lentils
  • Some Vegetables (commonly, artichokes, asparagus, onions and garlic)
  • Some fruits (commonly, apples, cherries, pears and peaches)

With this level of restriction, it can seem impossible to integrate flavor into your food; however, do not be discouraged, MOB Sauce can help! While most of our sauces contain onions and garlic, the Sesame Satay Sauce is free from both! In addition, our Spanish Tahini Romesco and Peruvian Verde Sauces do not contain onion and only 2% garlic.

A big challenge with the FODMAP diet is finding recipes that fit your restrictions AND are as tasty as ever. Some recipes you may want to try are:

  1. Thai Peanut Noodles – with our Sesame Satay Sauce
  2. Pulled Pork Burrito Bowl – with our Peruvian Verde Sauce
  3. Pork Meatball Subs – with our Spanish Tahini Romesco Sauce

Now matter your health journey, with MOB Sauce, you are guaranteed to make your foods, mouthwatering, original, and bold.
